About The Author
LeRoy Kruse isn’t just a poet; he is a storyteller shaped by the triumphs and trials of a life well-lived. Born the middle child in a family of seven, LeRoy discovered his passion for writing as a young boy, often retreating to a secret place and placing the thought he had written on paper and placing it under a rock.
LeRoy's life journey is as diverse as his experiences. From walking barefoot to school as a child to serving in military, where he guarded aircraft with a 10-pound radio, his path has been anything but ordinary. After his time in the military, he pursued education at a local community college and later found solace in nature as a golf course manager, a role he likened to farming—a job he deeply enjoyed.
